User advice driplines

In order to prevent damage and leakage the following recommendations are made on handling this material

PCJ CNL–  PC CNL – Woodpecker – Arrow – Capinet – Capillaire

  • DO NOT leave mounted drip irrigation rolled up longer than 3 weeks.
  • Mounted drip irrigation MUST NOT be exposed to extreme temperatures or temperature fluctuations and also never expose to chemicals or other aggressive materials. Store pallets under cover. Do not store in a glasshouse.
  • BEFORE installation ensure that the assembly specification on the labels meets your expectations.
  • The product must be kept at working temperature for a minimum of 24 hours before installation. (minimum 15°C / 59°F, maximum 25°C / 77°F).
  • Maintain this temperature during installation and first operation.
  • NEVER apply lubricants such as soaps, oils, or similar in an attempt to ease the assembly process.

Should the above mentioned conditions not be complied with, all guarantees expressed or implied are void.

If you wish to add drippers, please follow the instructions below.

  1. Punch a hole using a Netafim punch supplied with this order.
  2. In case of an Arrow dripper; widen the hole with a special pair of tongs. (a tapered blunt awl).
  3. Mount the micro tube or the dripper in the main pipe.
  4. Squeeze the main pipe (manually) around the hole you have made.

Removal of drippers:

  1. Remove the microtube or cut the dripper just above the main pipe. Push the remnant of the dripper into the hole and fill the hole with a plug. Plugs exist for micro tube and for capillary

Replacements of drippers:

  1. Remove the old stake from the micro tube by cutting the tube straight behind the labyrinth or the barb.
  2. Heat the micro tube to a maximum of 35°C / 95°F.
  3. Push the stake straight into the micro tube.
  4. In the case of Capillary and Capinet the stakes screwed onto the micro tube.
